Because 80% of our participants drive, parking availability is always the first priority when selecting an venue.  Free street parking is the most ideal or there is a Parking Lot one block away willing to give Harlem Salsa a special rate if we can supply them with 25 vehicles.  Harlem Salsa  will have validating flyer for your car)  You can go and download the flyer at parking@harlemsalsa.com, www.harlemsalsa.com or we will have some fliers on the day of the event.

Purchasing Drinks and Food Eliminated:
The problem with our mature group is we are not big drinkers for whatever reason.  The first thing the club owners say, “those salsa dancers are not drinkers/diners, they only come to dance”.  And they’re right, because I am one of those who don’t drink.  We always were threatened with evictions because of that.  So that isn’t a problem anymore, because at our new venue you can bring “Bring Your Own Brown Bag or Food”.

Floor
Our new venue has a wooden dance floor (salsa dancer’s heaven).  We don’t have to worry about our knees hurting the next day because of the (concrete, plastic, raw wood, stone) floors.

Tables:
We have about 18 long tables for your seating.  We always had a problem with not enough tables; this time hopefully the table problem is resolved. (at least 18 tables seating 8 – 10 each)
